Why Do We Walk?
We walk for the day when no parent has a teenager that has never uttered a word…because of autism. We walk for the day when no child lives in a world that no one else can enter...because of autism. We walk for the day when no sibling has to grow up too fast or learn the life lesson that life isn’t fair too early…because of autism.
We walk to fund research that will uncover the causes of autism. We walk to provide education and connect families with resources and services. We walk to help parents and caregivers to better recognize the signs of autism so their child gets early intervention. We walk to raise awareness, essential to raising funds for research and services. We walk to provide hope.We walk to find the missing pieces.
